Tell us a bit about yourself:
Originally from Minne- “snow” -ta, I’m making up for lost time in sunny San Diego by spending all my free time at the beach and playing volleyball. I'm a Technical Designer, and get to make sure everything fits well and is made the way our designer envisioned! I’ve been with Rylee + Cru 5 months, and love how aesthetics and brand identity is a priority, so everything from our website down to the rose gold mousepad at my desk are beautiful.
What is your favorite Holiday Tradition?
My favorite day of the year is Christmas Eve when my whole extended family gets together for a ping pong tournament, “The Dice Game” with coveted gifts, “The Name Game" and all the treats you can dream of. They also happen to be all my favorite people so it’s the best.
What is your favorite Holiday Memory as a child?
Going to bed very late Christmas Eve with only the lights from the Christmas tree twinkling.
What is your favorite Holiday dish?
My mom makes a recipe from her mom called “Goldrush Brownies”, made with graham crackers, chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and powdered sugar. Need I say more?
Eggnog or Hot Chocolate?
Both!
Colored Lights or White Lights?
White lights, and I even use them year round.
Real Tree or Fake?
We always got to pick out a real tree growing up. My sister was even allergic but we were such die-hard fans!
What is your favorite Holiday Movie?
Every year I host my friends to watch “It’s a Wonderful Life,” one of the greatest movies of all time and definitely a tear-jerker.
What is your favorite Holiday song?
A tie between “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “O Come O Come, Emmanuel”- Boys II Men style.
